Today, the CAD technology had been used widely in the manufacturing, but in absolutely multitude enterprises, only the handiwork drawing was replaced by the electric plate, the electric resource accumulated in the long time was not efficiently used very well and a lot of "project dumb drawings" were produced. Now, the parameterization as a key technology in the CAD field is developing at very fast speed, the repeat work in the designing can be reduced using parameterization technology to recognize and understand "project dumb drawing" and according to the design requirement to efficiently reuse these invaluableners electric resource, Meantime the design efficiency can also be improved to reduce the design cost. The paper is sustained by the fund of Shandong province, encircling the problem when CAD technology used in the enterprise produced, the masterstroke is how to make the "project dumb drawing" accumulated in the long time reused efficiently, and finally improve the design efficiency and reduce the design period of the product. The paper does the following work concretely.(1). Integrating the development of CAD technology and the status of CAD’s application and the faced with problem, according to the development status of CAD technology in the home and abroad, the blue print is brought forward.(2). The basic concept, reuse model, level structure, key technology and the basic character of the design reuse are summed up, this can be took for the theory foundation and guidance of the model solver,.(3). The parameterization based on restriction and restriction auto- recognition are researched, provide the theory of the geometry reasoning, design the Dynamic Global Database and the reasoning rules, particularly provide the definition of the off-line parameterization and management of the parameterization restriction.(4).
