In the current circulation,retail chain is an important form. With China’s entering WTO, we cannot neglect that our young chain supermarkets are facing the attack from overseas developed chain supermarkets that have hundreds of years experience and advanced technology.“If we do survive”, we must improve,“we must grow strongly”.Main contents are as following:Chapter One: Introduction .This part introduced the background, purpose and significance of the research, the theory tools and methods in the paper and the basic idea and logical structure of the thesis.Chapter Two: Management analysis of the large-scale retail enterprise. This part introduced the basic concepts and characteristics of the large-scale retail enterprise and analyzed the management specialties and management course of the large-scale supermarket and bazaar. We got a conclusion of the characteristics of financing management from the analysis of the management characteristics of the large-scale emporium with these two retail styles and analysis of the core competition.Chapter Three: Basic concepts of the large-scale retail enterprise’s performance appraisal system. This part introduced the basic concepts, sorts and theory base of the performance appraisal system and the development of the performance appraisal system in management at home and abroad. It emphasized the elements of the performance appraisal system: appraisal subjectivity, appraisal objectivity, appraisal connotation, appraisal purpose and goal, appraisal guidelines and appraisal standards. And it also introduced the mode and conformity of the performance appraisal system, the sense of establishing performance appraisal system of large-scale retail enterprise and the basic contents in such system.Chapter Four: Case analysis of the construction of large-scale retail enterprise performance appraisal system– taking X Emporium’s performance appraisal for example. At first, this part introduced the basic situation, management environment, organization construction and main flow of the X emporium. By analyzing the management and financing of the X emporium at present, then we discussed the problems and reasons of the performance appraisal system of the X emporium. Finally we found the way to consummate such system.Chapter Five: Basic construction and the issues of the performance appraisal system of the large-scale retail enterprise. Through the discussion of management characteristics of the large-scale retail enterprise and the basic theory of the performance appraisal system above, we found the basic construction of the performance appraisal system of the large-scale retail enterprise and pointed out the problems of construction with actual case.Main points of view are as following:This thesis constructed the performance appraisal system of the large-scale retail enterprise by the relative theory of the performance appraisal system. It pointed out that we ought to take the financing guidelines as the basic starting point when we constructed the performance appraisal system and with the supplement of the non-financing guidelines, performance appraisal system should be combined with the organization structure of the enterprise to reflect the enterprise’s management process.Main achievements:With the analysis of the management characteristics of the large-scale retail enterprise, the basic theory of the performance appraisal system and the material case, we found the basic construction of the performance appraisal system of the large-scale retail enterprise and pointed the problems of the construction. The system can be the reference to the foundation of the performance-appraisal system of the large-scale retail enterprises in China.Further study and direction are as following:The discussion in this thesis is not aiming at the special situation of the individual enterprise, but to the management situation of the single shop of the large-scale retail enterprise in our country. By increasing development of the retail, we need to get further study for these new coming problems. Furthermore, the large-scale chain retail enterprise in this thesis only refers to the single shop of domestic large-scale retail enterprise rather than the foreign branch shop.
