The Education of Party was an important method by which Nanking Government established and strengthened the only orthodox position of Kuomintang on ideology. The Education of Party in the educational field was the most typical. In order to dominate the ideology of teachers and students, people were forced to learn the policy of Kuomintang, the Chinese feudal morality and receive the military training. At that time, the Education of Party was positive to some degree. But its parochialism led to the final failure. In this article, I will research into general situation, running, characteristics and historical effect of The Education of Party in the educational field, hoping to be helpful to the research of Republic of China’ s politics.This article is divided into four parts. The first is preface. It introduces the origin of The Education of Party, the present conditions of research, and what questions writer will research into. In the second part, there is an explanation to the general situation of it from 1927 to 1937. In this period its content changed according to the circumstances. It was progressively perfect that from Nanking Government began to put it into effect to its connotation formed. The Education of Party in the educational field was decided by the educational administrative organizations and fulfilled by the schools. The third part expounded the running of it. Its main objects were teachers and students. The teachers were not only in charge of The Education of Party of students, but also supervised by Nanking Government.So the implementing means to the teachers and students were different. The students were the most important object of it. To students, its running was within and after class, and even involved the whole lives of students. So it was of omnidirection and diversity. Moreover, the supervisory measures were also important contents. The three facet will be shown in this part. The fourth part analyzes its characteristics and evaluated its historical position. The Education of Party of Nanking Government is different from it of Guangdong Government. In order to safeguard Kuomintang’ s domination, it excluded other parties and thinking, did not hesitate to adopt forceful means. All of these led to its final failure.
