Study on the Mechanics and Technology of Electroless Plating Ni-Co-P on Nano Al2O3 Powder

Electroless Ni-Co-P alloy plating on the nano Alumina powder not only improves the weakness of the nano Alumina powder, which easily reunites and is unelectric, and enhance the powder’s face activity, but also may synthetize the respective merit of substrate powder (Alumina) and metallic powder (Ni-Co-P alloy), what’s more, may develop some new traits. According to these purposes, during the electroless plating on the nano Alumina powder , the paper mainly research the craft of the former disposal, the basic formulation of the electroless nickel bath and idiographic scheme of electroless Ni-P alloy plating, sequentially elicit optimal the craft of the former disposal, the basic formulation of the electroless nickel bath and idiographic scheme of electroless Ni-Co-P alloy plating. At the same time, the life span of the EN solution is also studied by a series of experiments, which are firstly analysing the content of Ni2+ by titration , secondly calculating the content of NiSO4 by formula and accordingly constituting appropriate complementarity scheme. Making use of the experiments of the life span of the EN solution may ascertain the metal turn over (MTO) of the EN solution, the aim of experiments is a batch production of the powder. On this ground work, the black nano Alumina powder which is plated steer the diffraction of X ray and Scan the electric mirror examination analyse, As a result, the alumina dust is fully plated ,the plated lay includes the phosphorus as 11.31%, which are attributed to high phosphouns coatings, the present the crystal structure. This is obviously different from the common electroless nickel plating. From that we can see what is the existent phase that in the alumina powder and the integrity of the plated powders.This text preliminary studied electroless Ni-CoP alloy plating on the nano alumna powder, researched the craft of electroless Ni-Co-P alloy plating on the nano alumna powder, found out the EN solution formulation and concrete electroless plating schemewhich are fit for our laboratory condition, and steer the life experiment, according to the examinations, we know the powder is successfully plated a lay of Ni-Co-P alloy.
