A new type plasticizer is developed.A new process to chloro-methoxy fatty acid methyl ester from fatty acid methyl ester as main starting material is introduced when methanol is methylating reagent,benzoperoxide is catalyst and chlorine is chlorinating agent.The effect of reaction time, flow rate of chlorine gas and temperature to the reaction are studied.The experimental results showed that when reaction time is between 7 h and 8 h, flow rate of chlorine gas is 50~60 mL/min,temperature is 70~85℃, methanol is 10% of fatty acid methyl ester,the quality of product is the best.The chlorine concentration of chloro-methoxy fattyacid methyl ester is about 25%, its color and luster is very good and its properties is well-behaved.On this basis,How to rise up the decomposition temperature of chloro-methoxy fat acid methyl ester is studied by adding addictives.The effect of synthesized conditions and ratio of heat stabilizer are studied.Maximum force, tensile strength, elongation at break and surface hardness are measured in cable material specimen as plasticizer DOP replaced different proportions of chloro-methoxy fatty acid methyl ester in the formula of cable feed.In last article surface hardness and plasticizer mobility change are studied.When the plasticizer containing 40% DOP,60% chloro-methoxy fatty acid methyl ester(containing chlorine 24.62%) compares with that containing 100% DOP,the experiment result shows that the performance parameter of the former plasticizer is better than the latter.Its maximum force is 375N,apparently larger than latter 287N.The material tensile strength increases 31%.Compared to elongation at break,their performance index is well-matched,one 330% and the other 358%.PVC material maximum tensile strength is 16.25Mpa,incresed 33.6%, when the methoxy group content and DOP content are diffirent. At this point, the methoxy group content is 8.5%,DOP is 60%.PVC material elongation at break is 410.80% and the surface hardness is almost the same when the methoxy group content is 6.5% and DOP is 40%.Chloro-epoxidized fatty acid methyl esters is produced in order to do comparative test. The experimental results showed that the plasticity of chloro-methoxy fatty acid methyl ester is better than Chloro-epoxidized fatty acid methyl ester.
