Evaluation is one of the most important parts of the basic education reform. The goal of developing evaluation is to accelerate the development of students under the guidance ’based on human beings’. Developing evaluation presents the thinking of ’all for students’ and it becomes the leading trend of educational reform.In this thesis, Chapter 2 shows the conception, characteristics and function of developing evaluation; Chapter 3 introduces the principles, contents and rating standards of developing evaluation about student group experiment in junior school; Chapter 5 shows how to practice developing evaluation; including the ways of making experiment form, training student experiment leader, etc; and then Chapter 6 presents the results of developing evaluation.Seen from design of the proposal, research indicates the characteristics of developing evaluation: evaluation consists of the three dimensional aspects----technology & skills, process & methods as well as emotion & world view. Evaluation body: students, team leader, and teachers; evaluation pattern: each one has a corresponding experimental card for every single experiment Students get trained during process. In addition, from the comparison experiments and questionnaires statistics, the research get progressed in experiment skills, attitude and custom because those changes in evaluation contents and body play a key role in building the positivities of students. It gives a complementary for conventional evaluation and supplies an example for further development of evaluation in education reform.
