Research about Standardized Design of the Integrated Building at the Highway Service Area

From 1998, the first Chenese highway -Hu Jia Highway opened to traffic,until 2010, there has been more than 65,000 km mileage. The highway of our country has made remarkable achievements. According to "The Twelfth Five-Year Guideline" highway plan of communications Department in Jiangxi Province, Jiangxi Province will complete the highway construction plan of Jiangxi Highway Network in 2015. Its highway mileage will be 5000km. In this case, the amount of highway construction in Jiangxi Province is still huge. Therefore, as the support facilities of highway, the demand of highway service area is also increasing rapidly.This paper first analyzed the current deficiencies in the construction of the integrated building at the highway service area and proposed by the standardized design approach to solve these problems. Secondly, the paper provided a brief overview on the development of domestic and international standardization process. Next, it focused on the standardized design of the integrated building of highway service area. It discussed the process of design and construction about the integrated building of highway service area, including the standardized design of the integrated building→produced a large number of standard components of integrated building→assembled those components on site and combined with other construction.According to the analysis about function of the integrated building of highway service area, the paper divided the integrated building into three level, including basic, expanded, upgraded features. It mainly analyzed the features, partition and internal space at basic and expand features. At the same time, this paper analyzed the behavioral characteristics and psychological needs of the passengers in order to achieve the purpose of human design. By the analysis of various functions, it can be divided four different standard units lines, including Universal series, washing room series, Accommodation series and Corridor series standard units, for standardized design of the highway service area’s integrated building. The article focused on analyzing the industrial construction type and chosed the steel frame construction for the standardized design. Then this paper described the load-bearing structure, the envelope structure and the materials be used, it designed all type of standard units, including unit plan design, section design, wall layout, floor layout, beam—column layout, and pipe layout and so on. Finally, this paper analyzed the subject about the expansion of the highway service in Xiajiang. mainly use and combine those standard units.
