Starting with geological research, gathering multidisciplinary research as a whole, such as geological, seismic,lojgging and reservoir evaluation, introducing and developing targeted front technology, the basic principles of sequence stratigraphy being as overall guidance, the "cycle contrast, grade control "being as the main means, marker bed being as the basic control factor, we do fine stratigraphic comparison and build the basic stratigraphic framework. While we combine well seismic and carry out the study of structural characteristics and the reservoirs distribution. A set of seismic interpretation and evaluation methods, which are applied to evaluation stage of the development of exploration area in Jilin, are formed gradually, and that favorable drilling targets are optimized at the same time.According to the current challenges faced the old oil field development, we mainly carried out the research including two aspects:Firstly, many techniques, such as full 3-D explanation techniques, map analysis techniques, coherence cube technology, and visual technology, are used to as certain small faults and low-amplitude interlayer structures, and look for development block consisting of reservoir structures. Secondly, on basis of the high-accuracy-preserving data processing, seismic attribute extraction and analysis techniques are applied to predict qualitatively sandstone distribution and horizontal distribution of reservoir target. We also adopt inversion techniques of multi-parameter features to identify quantitatively lateral and vertical changes of sandstone body, and forecast the spatial distribution law of reservoir targets. Waveform clustering technique is applied to calculate seismic facies of the reservoirs and then converted into sedimentary microfacies. Oil and gas indentification technology is used to identify oil/gas/water, and reduce development risk.By researching comprehensively the structural characteristics, reservoir characteristics, reservoir type, reservoir and perception, we apply knowledge of geological laws to guide further seismic interpretation, and combine with the appropriate geophysical techniques to predict the spatial distribution law of sand bodies. Accordingly, the supporting technology of seismic data processing and interpretation are formed, applied promptly to the exploration and exploitation in practice with looking for favorable structure and lithologic traps, and afford technical support for the deployment of exploration wells and development of capacity building.
