Incentive Mechanism Research of a Large General Hospital Based on the Staff’s Expectations

Objective: Modern human resource management emphasis on“people-oriented”management philosophy, and respect for human needs, regard people as the most valuable, value-increasing resources. How to incentive hospital employee, improve core competence, which is important issue in every hospital. What is Stuff need for work is to contribute mentally, physically and psychologically, in fact, their needs and expectations are also varied. It is necessary to understand their needs and implement effective incentive mechanism for motivating the employees contribute to their work wholeheartedly. Methods: In this paper, take a large general Hospital incentives as an example, organizational behavior and human resources management and other relevant theorized were used in the hospital staffs’job satisfaction and psychological needs survey. Reliable data are abstained through the questionnaires. Statistical analysis tools were used to analyze hospital staff working condition satisfaction and expected psychological needs. The hospital staff’s major needs and leading incentive factors are identified. Results: According investigation and research, hospital stuff the most satisfied the pay and benefits of job, the least satisfied job itself and interpersonal relationship. different classes of Employees have diffirent demand. Based on these results, here proposes the principles and frame work of reconstruction of the existing hospital incentive factors are identified. Conclusion: In review of the actual hospital situation, the hospital should consider the following means to effectively motivate all staffs: focusing on formation of a wide range of incentives pay and benefits system; establishing a sound training system and pay attention to the growth of individual employees; effectively resolve the existing problems related to staff (stuff stress management, employees assistant planning). Centered on establishing a healthy hospital cultural, and protect it by implementing performance appraisal.
