With the electronic jacquard’s wide application, the jacquard machine’s modules suitable to electronic jacquard are widely promoted. As part of opening shed, jacquard machine’s modules decide fabric’s quality, cost and production efficiency. But, in generally, electronic jacquard lack of efficient quality testing control method, manual examination and test weaving is popularly used to avoid quality problem. This not only wastes manpower and material resources, but also protract products’ production cycle accordingly. Aimed at this situation, combining embedded technology, test technology with electron technology, this paper designed jacquard machine’s modules’ test system.First, based on analyzing electronic jacquard’s operating principle, the author designed the whole block diagram of the test system with modularization design method. According to jacquard machine’s hooks’ array, author selected photoelectric switch as sensors, adopted the way of "latch- parallel to serial-serial shift output" to collect 2688 sensor’s signals quickly.Second, author established cquard machine’s modules’ test system based on embedded system. After researching embedded processors and embedded operating system, author selected ARM micro processor chip S3C4510B as main controller, selected embedded real-time operating system uC/OS-II. And uC/OS-II was transplanted to S3C4510B.Third, the application on S3C4510 was implemented by interrupts and tasks with different priority, it ran on S3C4510 and was controlled by uC/OS-II’s kernel.Fourth, author designed test circuit board, signal transfer circuit board, 485 interface and USB HOST interface etc. analyzed memory interface circuit, JTAG debug interface circuit and LCD display interface circuit on core board. Implemented that main controller communicated with collecting data module according to RS-485 communication protocol.Fifth, embedded hardware and software cooperation design method was adopted during designing test system. After performing many test to test system, author put forward the direction for improvement.
