At present, the indoor formaldehyde pollution has seriously affected people’s health. Thus it has become an important social issue to control and treat the indoor formaldehyde pollution.This thesis would first research into the source of indoor formaldehyde and the analysis of elements affecting its emission. Then the author would explore the law of indoor formaldehyde emission, followed by research of the forecast and control of indoor formaldehyde pollution. Finally, the thesis would probe into the theory of anaphase control and treatment technology of the indoor formaldehyde pollution.Starting from the study on the source of indoor formaldehyde and the analysis of elements affecting its emission, the thesis elicits that indoor formaldehyde comes mainly from the following places: (1) decoration-used artificial glue board, wood block, fiberboard and flakeboard; (2) Furniture made of artificial board; (3) other decoration materials having formaldehyde and possible to emit, including wallpaper, carpet, foam, paint and dope etc; (4) Some materials may emitting formaldehyde, such as cigarette, and some organic materials; (5) dope. After clarifying sources of the indoor formaldehyde, the thesis studies on the elements affecting its emission, which contains: (1) intension index of the indoor building materials; (2) indoor temperature and relative humidity; (3) time; (4) frequency of indoor air exchange; (5) load of indoor building materials; (6) configuration decomposing.In the theory of anaphase control on indoor formaldehyde pollution, this thesis sums up the following aspects: ventilation, temperature and humidity control, decontamination of plant, physical absorbing technology, optical catalyzing, chemical neutralization technology, air- carbanion, ozone oxidation, catalyzing &oxidation under normal temperature, biological technology, and material obturated.In aspect of the law of indoor formaldehyde emission, the thesis concludes that the monthly average indoor formaldehyde concentration is close to movement trend of monthly average temperature. The formaldehyde monthly average concentration is C=0.0246T-0.30 with the monthly average temperature, and its linear correlation coefficient is R~2= 0.8652. Under different humidity conditions, the emission of formaldehyde is very fast at the initial stage (0-100 min), and tends to be slow at stage of 100-300 min, and then becomes stable in stage of 300-500 min.
