The embedded production has already applied in IT field widely. The wireless data transmission model and systematical scheme were designed by the embedded technology which was using in the industrial monitor system. The scheme utilized the public mobile communication network GPRS as transmission platform to solve the problems in the current industrial special wireless transmission system such as expensive network construction, maintenance difficulties and etc. Then described the systematical components, access method and working mode, and analyzed the transmission proficiency and the stability about the system in this thesis. This scheme was composed of wireless data terminal unit and data service center. The main point of this thesis is the research and realization of wireless data terminal which is based on the embedded system. Put out the transmission model and technological scheme about wireless data terminal, that is, utilize the embedded ARM microprocessor and the embedded real-time operating system μC/OS-II to accomplish the terminal. Build the hardware platform which dominant core is S3C44B0X and accomplished the realizations about S3C44B0X’s periphery circuit, GPRS mode, memory mode and I/O mode. At the same time, in the software, according to the requirement of the system, the startup load program —Boot loader was designed and the real-time operating system μC/OS-II was ported to S3C44B0X. In order to meet the GPRS data transmission requirement, the light weight TCP/IP (LwIP)was ported to μC/OS- II successively, and the application program of wireless data transmission was designed above μC/OS- II operating system. At last, developed a demo of data terminal and tested the basic function which indicated the software and hardware could work properly in lab.
