Impacted by the global economy and the modern advanced science and technology, the megalopolis gradually become a new space organizing form of the international productivity distribution system and the work divide. The megalopolis is considered as one of the most important direction during the city developing process of the developed countries in the 21st century. Today, the international competition is more and more vehement, and the competitor is the megalopolis. It is a strategy to many countries and regions that take part in the world-wide competition by the megalopolis. There are some economy centers of a area with a megalopolis as its core in the world. In China, the cities were developing rapidly in the past years, some megalopolis was formed, thereinto, the Changjiang River Delta megalopolis is the most important one with its strong economy power. The developing of the Changjiang River Delta megalopolis have a special significance to China, it could demonstrate and stimulate the economy of other districts. So, study how the Changjiang River Delta megalopolis could grow up to the biggest group of cities in China is necessary. In this article, we were looking into some aspects of the developing process of the Changjiang River Delta megalopolis, just like the policy that the central government gave to the Changjiang River Delta; the local government’s management; the approach though which the market system impact the economy; the motivity of which the resource gathering in the Changjiang River
