The electrolytic aluminum belong to the national industrial policy to control high energy-consuming industries , thus reducing power consumption has become an important issue relating to the life and death of the industry . With advances in technology , lower power consumption are also a variety of methods , such as the use of the the advanced groove, lower bath temperature , DC current flatness , in which a steady flow of advanced technology to improve the flatness of the current less investment and quick measures , is one of many companies work in progress . In this paper, digital automatic steady flow control technology development as the background for the actual production of electrolytic aluminum enterprises need PLC digital automatic steady flow control technology , illustrates the the PLC digital automatic steady flow control system control principle and implementation method ; analysis of the difficulty of control system , the control method and control algorithm optimization ; overall technical program constituting the total current of the series loop, large single unit small current loop nested dual-loop control system based on the PID regulator . With the rapid development of computer network technology , power electronics technology , PLC automatic control technology , control technology of aluminum electrolytic power supply rectifier system has also been rapid development of control technology to the development of intelligent, networked and modular direction ; steady flow the control key is saturable reactor control current control saturable reactor current in this system is controlled by PWM DC chopper control technology, adjusting the duty cycle of the power device IGBT to change the control current of the reactor . The control system for the steady flow of all-digital intelligent control system , that steady flow system control , regulation, triggering, signal processing and control all aspects of software program control using PLC or other intelligent control device , the control system does not require hardware adjustments steady flow system information exchange is given control , steady flow control mode change , steady flow system status monitoring network intelligent control , the system has been successfully put into operation in China Chalco Guizhou Branch of the technology in China is leading level .
