With the progress of society and the development of science and technology, increasing the functional requirements of the society on the city bus. A large number of electronic control units (ECU: Electronic Control Unit) on the city bus, good to meet passenger demand for comfort, safety and economy of city bus, but also to meet government environmental protection for the city bus exhaust emissions requirements. Currently, various electronic control unit on a city bus in China to use more point-to-point connection, separate in the same car, the separation of control between the transmission of information and communication is not smooth, leading to the repeated use of the sensor and Harness complex. In order to improve the performance of the vehicle, on the city bus between each ECU integrated control and monitor the status of their work, a combination of their information and data information sharing between different ECU, judgment and reasoning unified control and status information to the urgent need to address the problem. Firstly, according to the characteristics of the city bus, city bus information integrated control system architecture, through the analysis of the type of system information, system information classification method, from the screening of public information, information extraction process and information processing method system information extraction methods; Second, CAN (Controller Area Network) bus protocol and application layer protocol based on CAN SAE J1939-based, asked the city bus information integrated control system description method. Finally, the paper design city bus lamp control simulation system based on CAN bus.
