The course website is an Internet-based assistant system of teaching software, which is composed of the types such as classic course website, and the integrated course homepage platform, etc. The classic course website is an independent system, which is specially established for a certain course, pursuing the comprehensive function, elaborateness and distinctiveness, and highlighting the feature of“classic courses”. The integrated course homepage platform is a comprehensive website geared to the entire school courses, with all the course homepages having the identical mode, whose goal is to meet the requirements of being the teaching assistance for ordinary courses. This platform is a very convenient tool for those teachers who are not able to make the course websites by themselves. However, due to the identical pattern of the course website made, those contents are relatively monotonous. In recent years, the blog websites have been attracting numerous Internet users with their liberal contents, and have become the most popular websites. If the function of personal blog can be introduced into the course websites, their monotonous state can be changed, the visiting rate can be greatly increased, and the interaction between teachers and students can be largely improved, as a result, the mission of the assistant teaching websites can be fulfilled well.Based on the reference to the currently popular course platform and blog websites, this thesis designs and achieves the“Course Website Designing Platform”on the basis of the characteristics of both the above. It is both an efficient tool for designing the course websites and an integrated and operation al environment of the course websites. The principal part of this platform is a course website template which can be added with specific contents, containing the function of personal blog. The teachers of our school who visit this platform will be able to get access to the course website template after passing the identity verification. Adding some specific contents to the template, they will be able to establish their own course websites. The course websites established can be collectively operated on this platform. They are same in mode but different in contents, having various assistant teaching functions, such as the uploading and downloading of course-wares, the handing-in and handing-out of homework, on-line homework correcting, and message board, etc., and at the same time , they also have the functions of the personal blog.This platform has the following main features:
