With the development of network technology and virtual reality technology, three-dimension of web page and networking of virtual reality system have gradually become a new trend. In this context, Web3D technology is produced, which is non-immersive desktop-level virtual reality technology on the basis of Internet and realized by software technology. The application range of this virtual reality technology is rather wide, for the reasons that it has little input and relatively low hardware requirements, and that it does not draw support from sensing devices and not insist sense of immersion of users, but focus on implementations of real-time display and dynamic interaction of three-dimensional graphics on the web. But Web3D technology is not much applied in oilfield realm, especially less applied when in oilfield down-hole information processing and its three-dimensional display.Well bore information processing and three-dimensional display system, engineering incident management system in oilfield down-hole and standardized three-dimensional training system for drilling operations are developed in this paper, which, on the basis of analysis and research of virtual reality technology and Web3D technology, incorporates domestic and international development and research status, depends on the actual needs of oil field development and production, utilizes three-dimensional modeling technology and Web3D technology.At first, this paper has analyzed and researched modeling methods and technology of three-dimensional models and creating principles and processes of them and so on, according to the procedure of realization of Web3D technology and the development of practical system. It has established all models the system has used by 3DS MAX, and has achieved conversions of file formats of models. It has completed the combination of the dynamic invocations of three-dimensional models and Oracle Database and the interaction of human beings and three-dimensional scenes, and then eventually has realized well bore information processing and three-dimensional display system on the basis of web, by using C#.NET and the API functions of VGS II ActiveX. It has fulfilled the controlling to three-dimensional scene and animation from two-dimensional web page by using JavaScript programming interface functions, realized the combining of three-dimensional animation and two-dimensional flash, and then at last implemented engineering incident management system in oilfield down-hole on the basis of web by secondary development of three-dimensional browsing plug-ins of web page. At the end, this paper has discussed related content of serious games, found elements conducive to learning in games according to characteristics of serious games, applied these elements to the design of three-dimensional standardized training system for drilling operation, and by using Virtools fundamentally realized this system, which could strengthen enthusiasm and initiative of trainees.
