Plate-fin heat exchanger is a highly efficient , compact heat exchangers , with good heat transfer characteristics , the purpose of this paper is to study ammonia as the working fluid , plate-fin heat exchanger in the heat transfer characteristics of the condensation conditions . Design and build a bench , identical one on both sides of the runner and the condenser water side flow channel heat exchanger on the water side of the convective heat transfer was investigated experimentally . Measuring the flow rate and temperature difference at the inlet and outlet of the hot and cold sides of the heat exchanger , condenser water side convection heat transfer correlation based on experimental data . OTEC laboratory bench plate-fin condenser heat transfer performance experiments measured the total heat transfer coefficient of the heat exchanger , and study the impact factors of the total heat transfer coefficient . Export based on the ammonia side condensation heat transfer coefficient , and the impact of condensation heat transfer coefficient factors were analyzed . The theoretical analysis and experimental method of combining plate-fin condenser ammonia work quality condensation heat transfer coefficient semi - empirical correlation and the relational prediction accuracy of 20% .
