According to the new curriculum reform, it has been clearly put forward that:we should adhere to the people-oriented view and promote the development of each student; promote comprehensive and harmonious development, as well as the individualized education; advocate the comprehensive, developmental view to students. Nonetheless, the students with learning difficulties are so prevalent in rural middle school that the teaching benefits have been seriously affected. But we believe that:as long as we can carry out the requirements of the curriculum reform, and every teacher can take the responsibility of education, the students with learning difficulties will be fewer and fewer!The learning difficulties of the students have seriously affected the overall developments of the students. These students with learning difficulties have such characteristics as below:poor school performance; bad study habits; poor study attitudes; poor memory; poor self-control and low self-esteem. The school, family and society have been deeply troubled by their behaviors. In this sense, the research on students with learning difficulties is not only for the improvement of school teaching quality, but also for the social harmonious development and the individual development of every student.The forming causes of students with learning difficulties are complicated and varied: family is a major factor; school is the key factor; the students themselves are the direct factor; and the society is an important factor.It results in various problems among the students who have difficulties in learning:Family education is bad;They are not interested in study, lack of initiative;Regard the problem negatively; To cause to overpressure;They do badly in interpersonal relation.In this paper, I have explored the effective strategies to transform the students with learning difficulties. Based on my rich teaching experiences in rural middle school, I put forward different transformation ways to varied causes:by changing the educational method, the parents could build good home environment for the students with learning difficulties, which is the driving force for the transformation; by changing the management concept and system, the school could afford high-qualified, efficient education to the students with learning difficulties, which is the important guarantee for transformation; By changing teachers’concept of education, the teachers could teach students in accordance with their aptitude, which is the core of transformation; last but not least, the improvement of social environment is the condition of transformation.
