The research belongs to the applied project of the Science and Technology Department of JiLin Province.Photochromic material is a kind of novel functional material. Because of its photochromic reversibility, strong fatigue resistance, high resolution, large storage capacity and rapid reactive speed, it can be widely used as optical switch optical information storage, optical transformer and optical computer and so on. Photochromic material has a great potential on the domains of national defence, electronic and information. The research of its synthesis and application absorbs more attention all over the world. Especially, recently the research of photochromic material becomes more popular.In this paper six indolinspiropyran monomers were synthesized with small molecules. They are 3,3-dimethyl-N-dimethy-5-chloro-6’-bromo-8’-nitro- indolinospiropyran and 3,3-dimethyl- N- ethyl -5-chloro-6’-chloro-8’-nitro- indolinospiropyran.3,3-dimethyl-N-ethyl-5-chloro-6’-bromo-8’-nitro- indolinospiropyran and N-ethyl-3,3-dimethyl-5-chloro-spiro[indoline-2,3’-[3H]-naphtho[2,1-b][1,4]oxazine].The indolinspiropyrans are synthesized firstly. The structur-es of titled compounds and some intermediates obtained were identified by elemental analysis, IR and 1NMR.And their photochromic properties were studied by Uv-Vis absorbance spectra. Synthesis process on the reaction conditions were optimized to determine the optimum reaction conditions of the four compounds.And photochromic film and photochromic coating material were made.The Uv-Vis spectrometer of these compounds in different polar organic solution was researched. The decoloration and photometric process, the fatigue resistance of these spiro compounds in acetone solution were also studied. In this paper, some photochromic properties of spiropyran were tasted, Such as the fatigue resistance. Particularlly the effect of group and environment of spirooxazines were traversed also. Analysis and discuss the problem which is from the synthesis. Finally get hold of the method of solving the problem. And discuss the future of the spiropyran.
