English is a very important international language is the carrier of the world's scientific and technological , economic , and cultural exchanges . It plays an increasingly important role in our daily work and life . The vocabulary language constitutes the most basic elements of language learners must first master the basic conditions . However , the vocabulary in teaching high school English teachers and students recognized the difficulty . How to do a good job teaching vocabulary , how to make students more effectively master the vocabulary , plagued by many English teachers . Vocabulary teaching through English teaching has always been , and how much of the vocabulary will directly affect the students' listening , speaking, reading, writing , and other various skills . However , for many reasons , teaching high school English vocabulary there are a lot of problems . As a high school English teacher , I am teaching difficulties and pressures of the vocabulary . Eager to find a specific method to solve this problem . This article focuses on teaching high school English vocabulary , and find effective teaching strategies to enable students to master the vocabulary in a fun learning environment , increase vocabulary , thereby reasonable to use the vocabulary . The first part of this paper describes the causes and background of this study , as well as the purpose and significance of this study . The second part is a literature review , including the content and principles of vocabulary teaching , vocabulary teaching , vocabulary teaching theoretical basis , as well as domestic and foreign vocabulary teaching research status . The third part from both students and teachers to investigate the problems of teaching high school English vocabulary . The fourth part focuses on an effective strategy to improve English vocabulary teaching . Finally , conclusions
