Today's society is becoming increasingly dependent on electrical energy , and continuously improve the safety and quality of power supply . With the development of computer technology and network communication technology as the representative of information technology , the establishment of digital, network-based smart grid is the grid of the future development direction . Distribution terminal is an important part of the smart grid , digitization has also become the primary task of the power system of information technology to improve power distribution terminal . In response to this demand , digital distribution terminal -based wireless broadband access , network access functions to achieve , convenient remote configuration , remote monitoring and remote power management , energy information management extends to every end-users, to improve the level of grid digitization promote scientific and rational allocation of the resource-saving and energy . This article first detailed description of the digital distribution terminal functional model and structure model , based on the basic functions of the line protection modules and energy metering module module , an increase of network access module , the user of electricity in the full range of information management ; specifically addressed and compare several mainstream of the current network access technology , according to the real conditions of the access network and the easy accessibility of the market , select the WM802RTG the Wi-Fi module as the network access methods ; based on the ARM920T core S3C2440 processing driver to build a system of hardware development platform ; compile and configure the Linux kernel , the Windows operating system installed cross compiler tool to configure and compile the Wi-Fi module to generate executable code on the target platform module is loaded , the completion of the network the wireless access module , the network access functions of the system .
