The Research of Motor Test System Based on Networked Virtual Instruments

Networked virtual instrument technique is the outcome for combining of computer technique, technique of modern test and network technique. The networked virtual instrument technique has broken through in the limit of traditional technique consumedly in many aspects, such as data acquisition, processing, display, transmission and saving etc. Now, artificial method is also used in traditional motor monitoring. It is inefficiency, labour-intensive, and low-precision. With the development and application of Virtual instrument technique, this kind of problem has the possibility to be solved. So the research of motor monitor technique based on networked virtual instruments become important.The paper introduces the present state and perspectives of virtual instrument and motor monitoring technique. Then the author discusses the structure and character of virtual instrument. In the paper, we introduce and compare the character of LabVIEW, ActiveX and Java. After deeply analyseing the principle of motor realtime monitor, motor idler experiment and motor jink experiment, the author gives the scheme of the motor realtime monitoring system which base on LabVIEW. In order to improve the working efficiency of CPU and ensure the performing of the system, the system adopts the method of scheduling Multitasks. The system has connected with Access database by using LabSQL. Three modules which are database connecting, database operating and database closing have built to manage the database. We apply data transmission and data processing techniques of networked virtual instrument to the development of networked motor monitor. The system which makes use of DataSocket technique achieves the data transmission and data processing functions. Achieving aims of real-time and reliability data transmission.In conclusion, the system has improved the accuracy of motor monitoring experiment and the veracity of data processing. It can reduce the labor intensity and experiment time. It is an intelligent real time motor monitoring system. The whole system uses modularized idea. It has the character of operating simple and vivid, using convenient, stability, high-precision and widely applying scope.
