The sports is an important education content,to enhance students’ physique, enhance health consciousness, develop the habit of lifelong physical education, improve social overall health in comprehensive development of talent training school.physical education teaching plays an important role as an important part of school p.e, its importance is also widely acknowledged the connotation, its carrying more and more is also high, school sports work directly influences the quality of the construction of the talents in the 21st century. In the middle school teaching, sports teaching differs from other subjects teaching, which is the biggest difference in sports teaching is the practice of physical and mental health, which can adjust the role. At the same time, to other subjects teaching also have promote and other subjects, is the role of the regulators. As people to deepen understanding in sports education, understanding of the ideas of teaching, the status of sports teaching get enhancement in school sports.This paper, by understanding the ten ordinary high school sports teaching situation of guangzhou, the survey found problems of Guangzhou ordinary high school school sports teaching. For guangzhou high school sports teaching to give a reference, and proposed own Suggestions and countermeasures.This paper use a literature data method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics method, interview method, from guangzhou ordinary high school sports teaching situation, students and teachers’ interest to PE analysis of the status of the investigation. Results show that:New course standard for each school concept has accepted PE teachers in teaching concept, they took place on fundamental change, can be in practice curriculum implementation of active. PE teachers of a transformation of consciousness request has been completed, but they recognition and understanding of new course standard still need to continue to deepen; Guangzhou high school sports teachers with age tend to be younger, degree of undergraduate course is given priority to, the wide gap between male and female teachers, PE teachers proportion of students in P.E. class volition and character shaping education not high and safety consciousness; Guangzhou most high school physical education can achieve universal expect weekly 3-4 section, students’ interest to PE in project selection on higher, with three ball is given priority to, also like humorous, humorous, have knowledge of the physical education teachers in class on a tightly with loose organization carries on the classroom teaching; Guangzhou high school students who take part in extracurricular activities in school, students enthusiasm for basic satisfied, that school facilities for the ground and equipment basic satisfy the need of exercise.
