Expression and Clinical Significance of LRP16 and ER Gene in Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Chinese Abstract Objective To investigate the leukemia -associated protein 16 (LRP16) and estrogen receptor α (Erα) in hepatocellular carcinoma and its significance , and to seek the possibility of liver cancer early diagnosis and clinical prognostic indicators . Western blot and immunohistochemical methods in 42 cases of hepatocellular carcinoma ( serological examination of all patients with HbsAg ( ) received no preoperative anticancer treatment , all patients had complete clinical data . ) Pathology specimens or fresh tissue LRP16 Erα , CD34 , P53 , vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) expression and relationship analysis and clinical pathology , postoperative recurrence and prognosis . Results LRP16 and Erα in next to cirrhosis of the liver tissue , cancer organizations and cancer tissues were expressed , but the expression levels in turn reduce . LRP16 expression was higher in 17 cases, of which Erα, VEGF, P53 and CD34 is also highly expressed in were : 12 cases , five cases , four cases , five cases ; 25 cases of LRP16 low expression , which Erα, VEGF, P53 and CD34 also a high expression were : 3 cases , 17 cases , 14 cases , 21 cases , statistically significant differences between the two . LRP16 high expression generally smaller tumor diameter with intact membrane , usually no vascular invasion , mostly in poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma . Conclusion of LRP16 and Erα HCC coordinated expression of high expression have better biological characteristics . Of hepatocellular carcinoma LRP16 and Erα with other tumor biological indicators CD34, P53, VEGF joint use of certain prospects , may determine the biological characteristics of liver cancer . LRP16 and Erα its mechanism of action in the liver cancer may be different from the mechanism in breast cancer specific need to be further explored .
