A Study on the Teaching Strategies of Cultivating Junior Middle School Students’ Ability of Conjecture and Hypothesis

Since the 20th century , 80 years, countries around the world are carrying out reform of basic education . Scientific inquiry teaching is adapted to needs arising from this reform . To facilitate the smooth implementation of scientific inquiry learning , it is necessary for students to explore the various elements of learning and the corresponding capacity-building in-depth study . Conjecture and assumptions are an important element of scientific methodology , scientific inquiry is the basic core areas . In this paper, under the guidance of relevant teaching theories , analyzes the connotation of conjecture and assumptions , principles, and ability to conjecture and assumptions measurement and evaluation , and the factors that affect the conjecture and assumptions are analyzed theoretically . On this basis , the author of the ability of middle school students conjecture and hypothesis testing and analysis of the current situation and proposes training in physics teaching junior high school students' ability to conjecture and hypothesis teaching strategies , and based on this strategy by designing a teaching case .
