The Research of Zhejiang Provincial University’s Postgraduate Employment Tendency

Firstly, surveyed Zhejiang provincial universities postgraduate employment tendency by adopting the method of questionnaire and interview, it analysied the whole of postgraduate employment tendency characteristic deeply. It included career planning, expected salary and employment standards adjustment, entrepreneurial selection, employment occupation fields selection, the factors of affecting employment decisions, employment channels selection, the view of occupation choice, employment service demand, employment value factors.Secondly, analyzed different gender, different family residence, different types of subject to the influence of postgraduate employment tendency. Survey results showed different gender, different family residence, different types of subject in postgraduate employment tendency had a significant difference.Thirdly, in view of its employment tendentiousness characteristics to find employment problems. Problems include career planning were not very clear, lacked employment decision-making ability, male postgraduate and engineering postgraduate had high expected salary, employment region appeared the tendency of centralization, employment occupation fields simplification and few postgraduates choose to start their own companies, postgraduate employment appeared individualism obviouly and postgraduate often came across setbacks during the process of employment, then analyzed the causes of problems.Finally, put forward effective strategies to solve the employment problems. The strategies included that postgraduate must had clear career planning and enhanced employment decision-making ability; male postgraduate and engineering postgraduate should had reasonable expecting salary; postgraduate employment regional need broaden; the choice of postgraduate employment occupation fields need to change and need strengthened entrepreneurial education; strengthened postgraduate professional ideals and patriotic education; strengthen postgraduate employment guidance and improved the quality of postgraduate training.
