The Effect of Ground Fissure on the Stability of Cavern Adjacent Rock in Xi’an

In this paper, the basic geological conditions of the Xi'an Subway engineering background , analysis of the relationship between the ground fissures and caverns surrounding rock stability . First use of the ANSYS analysis software , crossing ground fissure at the cavern excavation was simulated stress cracks and cracks surrounding rock - support system analysis , by contrast , strain changes , to determine the crack effect on the stability of the cavern . The cavern excavation cracks the surrounding rock displacement , stress increased significantly , causing the roof of the slump and slump sidewall . In the cavern during excavation , ground fissures has a decisive effect on the destruction of the cavern , when the excavation to cracks should be prepared to optimize the construction steps , strengthening the surrounding rock to ensure the safety of the construction . Followed by the crack as a weak surface treatment to crack through theoretical analysis and the stability of underground caverns relationship , looking for cracks in the cavern stability affected the most unfavorable position of surrounding rock shear crack area and to determine the cavern around rock most likely to damage the position to provide a reference for the construction .
