With the rapid development of modern science and technology of mankind , human use of Atomic Energy is becoming more widely , the nature of the radiation damage and protection has become an important topic . Radiation protection substances generally refers to reduce radiation damage at the original stage , as has the body to reduce the free radicals produced by the radiation effect , the protection of sensitive biological molecules and other substances that act ; early after irradiation can reduce the development of radiation damage substances to promote recovery from damage . Natural radioprotectors toxicity and a wide range of sources . Effective bioactive substances in soy soybean saponin and soybean isoflavones , soy complex in soybean saponin as the main active substance complex extract , and soy isoflavones has many health benefits , and has a good prospect . Anti-radiation effect of soy isoflavones only see the individual reports , the soybean saponin radiation damage has not been reported . This issue through in vivo experiments on rats , the study of oral soy complex , soybean saponin and soybean isoflavones on the body to resist the impact of ionizing radiation capability . The results show 60Co-γ - rays not only cause mice WBC , bone marrow nucleated cells and peritoneal macrophage phagocytosis was significantly reduced also cause serum hemolysin , SOD activity was significantly decreased , MDA content, and bone marrow micronucleus rate increase it The antioxidant capacity reduced , decreased immunity and hematopoietic system . Soybean complex , soybean saponin and soybean isoflavones reduce blood caused by γ-ray system , chromosomal damage , enhance hematopoietic function , to mitigate radiation-induced decreased immunity , improve the antioxidant capacity of the irradiated mice , to improve the health status of the body to improve the ability of the resistance to radiation damage . The results also suggest that the soybean complex with an equal dose of soy isoflavones containing soy isoflavones and soy saponins , etc. dose soy saponins intervention effect of radiation damage may close to further research .
