The rent-seeking theory in the 20th century, the sixties and the seventies, but scattered exposition on the rent-seeking behavior can be traced back to Adam Smith or even earlier. So for this problem we must attach importance to. Rent-seeking on the issue, has a lot of academics and school made a lot of research, but, in our problem, the rent-seeking theory introduction late, it was introduced in the 1980s, it is the introduction of so people see the imperfect market economy, the negative impact to the community, and people began to pay attention to the application of this theory, and, increasingly sophisticated enterprise rent-seeking theory. This paper attempts on the basis of the existing literature, through their own understanding, combined with our unique economic system and the reality, analysis of rent-seeking behavior of enterprises in China during the transition economy. This paper consists of five parts, the main contents are as follows: the first part of an overview of the rent-seeking theory. First, rent-seeking definition, in rent-seeking basis for the definition focuses on interpretation of the meaning of enterprise rent-seeking, combined with the performance characteristics of the modern enterprise rent-seeking clarified enterprise rent-seeking enormous social costs and welfare losses. The second part of the analysis of enterprise rent-seeking behavior in China during the transition regime.
