As China's transportation infrastructure development , highways, railway tunnels appeared in large numbers . Western development strategy in this important national policy implementation so that the tunnel project has been gradually to harsh natural conditions , the sparsely populated high latitudes or high altitude cold regions extending . Construction of tunnels in cold regions than in the general region to face more complex technical problems, especially the tunnel freezing problem . Ours is a widely distributed in cold region tunnels country , to carry out countermeasures freezing cold region tunnels has important practical significance. Papers on the world 's freezing cold region tunnels phenomena and to investigate anti- freezing measures based on the analysis of the freezing cold region tunnels mechanism was studied , the main factors for the formation of frost damage were analyzed and summed up in cold region tunnels may frost damage occurring phenomenon , put forward for the country 's anti- freeze in cold region tunnels countermeasures . Thesis Niger Lang Cairn Tunnel engineering background , the tunnel under the temperature field, frost heave force and insulation thickness calculation . Calculated using the finite element method through the tunnel in the pre-and post- temperature field through , got the maximum freezing depth of the tunnel is 1.8 m ; using the temperature field calculation results into the stress field , and seek a maximum of 1.66 tunnel frost heave force MPa, rock tunnel lining can withstand frost force loads and joint action . Final calculation to determine entrance with insulation thickness of 5 cm, hole figure of 4 cm . Freezing cold region tunnels fortification measures, ranging from large in terms of law can be divided into insulation , waterproofing and drainage method, heating method, structural fortification laws. Specific terms are: PSD , sun roof , set the insulating layer , strengthen lining, reinforced rock freeze-thaw resistance , heating gutters , export insulation technology, deep center drain hole and so on.
