Objective: To observe flavored Shengmaisan with radiation therapy , the clinical efficacy of treatment of yin non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) . Methods: lung cancer hospitalized patients met the inclusion criteria , were randomly divided into two groups of 30 patients . Both groups were given radiation therapy , while the treatment group began in radiotherapy plus flavored Shengmaisan decoction . Were observed six weeks , two groups were compared after treatment TCM syndrome score , KPS score , tumor markers carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), changes in non - small cell lung cancer -associated antigen (CYFRA 21-1) as well as radiation therapy the occurrence of the toxicity . Results: In the treatment group , TCM syndrome score in treatment than before treatment decreased significantly and inversely proportional to the pre-treatment control group after treatment elevated score change before and after treatment were statistically significant ( p lt; 0.05 ) . The treatment group than the control group TCM syndrome score significantly lower , with a significant difference ( P lt; 0.01 ) . The treatment group KPS score after treatment than before treatment , the control group KPS score inversely proportional reduction treatment after treatment , the score change before and after treatment were statistically significant ( p lt; 0.05 ) . The treatment group was significantly higher than the control group KPS score , with a significant difference ( P lt; 0.01 ) . The treatment group and the control group after treatment, the tumor markers CEA.CYFRA 21-1 were significantly lower P values ??less than 0.01 , but there was no significant difference between the two groups ( P gt ; 0.05) . The side effects of the treatment group than the control group poison integral low , both with significant differences ( P lt; 0.01 ) . Conclusion: Modified Shengmaisan can improve NSCLC the yin patients clinical symptoms , can improve the quality of life of patients with advanced NSCLC patients , effectively alleviate the side effects of radiation therapy .
