Confronting with the reality of the current Chinese teaching reform which isn’t obviously effective, the thesis scans the problems which ought to be solved in Chinese teaching from the angle of the relation between Chinese and thoughts and the angle of the relation between Chinese and parole. The intention is to find out the new approach to the problems on the basis of having new consideration. This article specificly explains the concept of Chinese and thoughts, compares the differences and sameness between language and parole. It centers on the propostion that Chinese is parole, emphasizes the unity of Chinese and thought and the unity of Chinese study and thoughts activity. The nature of parole activity is the mutual conversion between words and sense.The center link is not only listening and reading processes of parole acceptance but also speaking and writing processes of parole expression.The former includes perception, comprehension and judgement while the latter includes the establishment of sense and the transformation from sense to words. The paper also points out that Chinese has the function which can’t be replaced by other subjects in cultivating students’s thought ability. Chinese teachers can’t consciously nurture and train student’s parole ablity and thoughts ability until they have completely understood the relation between Chinese and parole and the relation between Chinese and thoughts .
