Multicast technology is a data send an effective means for multiple users . Multicast technology is based on commercial and military applications with high bandwidth utilization , and can reduce the burden on the host , the development of faster and faster . But the the multicast technology 's application is subject to two limitations : A ) network : the IP network is not a typical broadcast network , is not conducive to large-scale development of multicast applications . B) Reliability: multicast mainly using UDP / IP ( or raw IP) as the underlying transport protocol , UDP and IP can only provide best effort services can not guarantee stable and reliable transmission of data . This paper attempts to provide a new solution to overcome these obstacles , in the DVB network (digital video broadcasting network) to achieve a reliable file broadcast system . The whole system mainly consists of file layer and reliable transport layer , the two collaborate reliable documents sent from the sender to multiple receivers end . The system does not require any feedback , so the system can work in a one-way broadcast networks do not have any return link is particularly suitable for large-scale multicast applications . This paper describes the reliable multicast protocol , principles and architecture . File layer and reliable transport layer and then based on the number of deficiencies in the application features and regular programs were added to a new mechanism to improve the efficiency of the system . Finally, given the realization of the system , a summary of the system , make an outlook on the system research and development .
