Metadiscourse as a relatively new concept in the field of discourse analysis , continuous attention in recent years . Many researchers analyzed a variety of stylistic metadiscourse . However, these studies mainly focused on the study of written discourse , English political speech as a kind of public speaking has been rarely involved . Political speech is mainly used to convince the audience to take action or a change of attitude , strong persuasion .
