As a delicate area of education, school culture has a significant impact on the development of the schools and even the education. Based on study of what we havewitnessed, heard, considered and thought at education spots-schools andclassrooms that we have visited or that appears in books, this thesis, perspectiving current school life by case study, reflects and analyses material school culture, institutional school culture and spiritual school culture, all of which are endowed in the content of school culture and rely on and impact on one another. Therefore, it reveals some long-existing problems which prevent students, teachers and schools from development.I . Current school culture is seriously impacted by "standardization" of industrialized society. It makes school culture that should have been full of vigor and variety a standardized culture that just seek for efficiency, quantity and speed.II. In "standardized" school culture, individual integrity and personnel initiative are ignored or disregarded. In such material school culture, institutional school culture and spiritual school culture, and subcultures of courses, teachers and the students. Students and teachers are prevented from living and growing up healthily, and the richness, integrity initiative of their life are ignored, cut apart and buried in oblivion. Thus, schools are turned into places where humanity is strangled.III. With a lack of initiative and creativeness, the inherited and traditional school culture, ignores and wastes the abundant culture resources and factors of localities and schools.The new era spirit and quality education encourage our education to love life and people, and facilitate human development. School as the main place to cultivate people, should create a harmonious, cheerful, fair, democratic and active school culture, and create a realm of great education in small schools.This research brings up the conception of reconstruction of school culture, and several recommendations on it.
