The meaning of life is a goal which can give the individual a sense of direction and worth:and the individual can get a valuable human identity in the process carrying out the goal. Meaning of life is the individual’s perception degree to the meaning and purpose of their life. Meaning of life is a very important affecting factor on the growth development of senior high school students and university students. Frank] believes that the young people’s situation of missing meaning of life is worst in various groups. The individual who lack of meaning of life will suffer existential vacuum; and existential vacuum will lead to various neurological disorders or substance addiction. Although informed research have mentioned that there are some relationship among meaning of life、time management and self-worth, the researches on detail relationship of all of the three variables between university students and senior high school students have not yet been found. Based on this, this study on the actual investigation of university students and senior high school students is to study and explore the relationship of their meaning of life and time management disposition、self-worth.This study will use questionnaire method, and "purpose in life questionnaire" "Adolescence Time Management Disposition Scale" and "self-worth scale" will be used. By conducting a questionnaire survey to the subjects including the students from grade one in senior high school to senior who are selected from two independent high schools and two full-time undergraduate education universities in Jiangxi Province, a total of 1087 valid questionnaires were taken back.The results by analyzing the received data shows:(1) The meaning of life of university students and senior high school students is under the middle-level;(2) The differences on meaning of life and its dimensions between university students and senior high school students are significant; the differences on time management disposition and self-worth and their dimensions between university students and senior high school students are significant;(3) University students and senior high school students have significant gender and grade differences on meaning of life;(4) Meaning of life and several of its dimensions of university students and senior high school students significantly related to time management disposition and self-worth. Both of the predicting effects of time management disposition、self-worth on meaning of life are significant of university students and senior high school students. But in university students, the predicting effect of time management disposition on meaning of life is better; and in senior high school students the self-worth is better.
