Finite element computational electromagnetics is one of the mainstream methods of complex structures and non-uniform medium has a strong ability to describe the problem . In the open- domain electromagnetic scattering problems , need to use the virtual boundary element truncated infinite space , this paper perfectly matched layer as a major open domain scattering boundary conditions to study the two-dimensional scattering problems . Compared absorbing boundary conditions and common absorption properties matching layer , and the latter's conditions of use and parameter settings are discussed in depth . In this paper several typical scattering body results with other literature comparison shows the validity and accuracy of this method .
