With the rapid development of remote sensing and geographic information systems technology, it provided new ideas and methods for the research and building of city-parks. Accessibility research method can use GIS spatial analysis tools to simulate the actual space environment, population distribution and transportation costs and other factors, and objectively measure the relevant index to evaluate the accessibility and services range of city-parks.This article analysed and researched the accessibility of Xi’an city-parks from several different points based on the Xi’an 2010 LANDSAT5 TM and Quickbird images, combined with the RS and GIS technology, through the extraction of Xi’an city-parks, acquisition entrance of city-parks, population discretion and the experiments of parkland based on buffer and transport network. It aimes to evaluate the accessibility and fairness of the large city-parks in Xi’an, and provides rational proposals for the construction and long-term development of Xi’an.In this study, based on the combination of RS and GIS methods, it extracted 26 sites of Xi’an city-parks, and analysed its accessibility, got the following conclusions:1, As a whole, the distribution of Xi’an city-parks is uneven, mainly distribute in the west, south, southwest, and take on "L" and "mouth" type, lacking in city central, northwest and east.2,Buffer analysis method believes that any point can be entranced into the city-parks in the boundary, however, network analysis is based on the real entrance, which is more realistic,more accurate and greater credibility.3, compared all the city-parks, the ones that located near densely populated areas, well-developed road network have high accessibility, and the ones that owned very large greenbeit and water area have low accessibility. Huancheng park, Children’s park have the highest accessibility; Darning Palace Heritage Park, Weiyang Lake Park have the lowest.4, Baqiao District and Chang’an District have only one city-park in each area, and the accessibility are all not high; Lianhu District has 7 city-parks and the overall service efficiency is general; Beilin District has only two city-parks, but the overall service is more efficient, and the huancheng park is better than Xingqing Park; xincheng District has four city-parks, in which the Daming Palace Relics Park is the largest but the accessibility is the worst, and the revolution Park and huancheng park is small, but the accessibility is high; Yanta District has 9 parks, in which the accessibility of southLake Park is not high, but it is suitable for driving to, and the accessibility of Peony Court and Tang City Wall Ruins Park is high, as the intensive road network and the dense population surrounded.5, Compared the 6 districts in Xi’an, beilin District and Yanta District have the best city-park accessibility, and Chang’an and Baqiao District have the worst.
