After entering the information age, along with the continuous development of science and technology, especially the development of microelectronics, integrated and intelligent technology, industrial products from the functional form of the design concept occurred a huge transformation. Them to the daily life of the product due to the wide range of applications of electronic technology, the growing range of product function and intensive mode of operation of the product and the product of the era of mechanization also complicate and unpredictable, technical progress gradually widened product with the user's cognitive distance, so that the product becomes a lack of a sense of intimacy and difficult to control, users tend to get lost in a variety of key groups and overwhelmed. This knowledge gap due to advances in technology in the design field called the cognitive friction between the user and product. The elimination of the cognitive friction between the user and product is the moment every designer needs to first solve the problem, and properly resolve the cognitive friction will be reflected in the product's usability and user experience of these two levels in this research is the issues, and to analyze the possibility of cognitive friction generated causes elements put forward relevant countermeasures. This paper attempts to study the problem of cognitive friction from theory to practice, analysis expand the text is as follows: First, the introduction of the connotation and extension of cognitive friction, in order to achieve a question, introduced the purpose of the issues and understand the problems. Aside areas of design, the cognitive friction broader epitaxial interpretation, by contrast, some understanding of the subject it is more systematic, so the denotative meaning interpretation of the reference to the commencement of the study. Second, research methods in the related disciplines of cognitive friction to learn, expand specific analysis of the factors influencing turn around the human factors and the factors in Chapters III and IV, respectively, and in the analysis to avoid recognition known friction design principles. Again in the fifth chapter proposed strategies and methods to avoid cognitive friction. Mainly on interaction design, empathic design method as well as the emotional quantitative method.
