With the deepening of education reform , new teaching high school English curriculum standards from the focus shift to impart knowledge of the language development of students as the center, will change the way students learn and develop students ' self-learning ability and ability to develop students' lifelong learning as an important goal of modern school education . In accordance with the teaching point of view , self-learning is not only an effective way of learning , but also the goal of teaching . But scholars study autonomous learning mode is mostly about students' self learning mode , learning mode for high school students and also a lack of appropriate empirical research . In this study, under the guidance of the theory of self-learning , through questionnaires , interviews and other forms of high school English Learning Teaching status of the investigation , found that students in high school English Learning problems , and from the macro and micro aspect puts forward an improved high school English classroom teaching methods and promote students' self-learning ability in English to enhance strategy. Thesis is divided into five chapters: the first chapter is the introduction . Introduces the concept and characteristics of self-learning , self-learning theory and self-learning mode background research status . The second chapter is about the theoretical framework of self- learning mode . From the psychological basis of self-learning , philosophy and pedagogy based on three aspects based on autonomous learning model to build the theoretical foundation . The third chapter is on China's high school English Learning Survey and analysis. Survey methods used were classroom observation , questionnaire , interview survey, and on this basis, on the status of high school English autonomous learning are analyzed and evaluated. The fourth chapter is English Autonomous Learning Model experiments . Experimental results show that the self-learning mode and high school English teaching effectiveness and student achievement in English a positive correlation. CHAPTER put forward to promote students' English learning ability improvement strategies .
