With the increasing international exchanges and cooperation, the influx of a large number of foreign films to the Chinese film market, to meet the needs of different levels of audience. Subtitles translate in which play an important role, it helps the movie audience to understand and become familiar with the information from different countries and culture. This article mainly with Eugene Nida's functional equivalence theory and Peter Newmark on the interpretation of the \Garfield and Prince), the characteristics of the source language and the target language translation features. The same time, the paper Nida's functional equivalence theory into practice, from the vocabulary peer, syntax, etc. and rhetoric on three to study the film's subtitle translation, and detect whether different translation methods and techniques subtitles translate other effects.
