Since Holec formally proposed in 1981, \Scholars who have embarked on a series of research projects, however, most of these studies focus only students overall self-learning ability, specifically for students of verbal learning autonomy lackluster. With the further deepening of international exchanges in particular cultural exchanges, the required proficiency in English has gradually improved, while Chinese English learners' oral situation is not so optimistic. Therefore, China's non-English speaking students learn professional conduct independent research, is not only necessary but also very pedagogical guidance. This study attempts to use quantitative and qualitative analysis of the combination of methods used by the main body of the questionnaire consists of two parts. The first part of the study on the concept of student autonomy oral survey, while the second part is aimed at students spoken English autonomous learning behavior of the investigation, the design blueprint of Professor Xu Jinfen (2004) describe the characteristics of independent learners. Central China University of Science and Technology through the non-English major sophomore survey of 500 undergraduate students, we focus on verbal learning learner autonomy status of men and women born in the autonomous existence of differences in verbal learning, student autonomy and influence key factor in verbal learning These three issues studied. The results show that a) students' autonomous learning spoken more positive attitude and a strong desire on the part of students to realize their responsibility autonomous learning spoken language, but there are still some students do not have consciousness. 2) girls than boys to learn the concept of the autonomy of the stronger, at the same time in autonomous learning behavior spoken girls better than boys. 3) Students verbal learning autonomy metacognitive knowledge and metacognitive strategies used by the lack of sense of apathy. Mainly in verbal learning plan is not enough on its ability to monitor the learning process is poor, self-assessment is not strong and so on. Based on the survey results, this article on how the current Chinese educational environment to improve students presented oral autonomy tentative suggestions. The end, the author summarizes the limitation of this study, and the future outlook related research done.
