Motion verbs, the core of both Russian and Chinese, reflect verbs’ characteristics of process and dimensional shift. But the two languages belong to different linguistic system, and their verbs differ in government and means of expressing aims, results, styles, and tools of displacement. In order to realize corresponding conversions between the two languages, we need to analyze these elements so as to accurately translate languages and express ideas by using motion verbs. In foreign language teaching, motion verbs of the two languages are emphasis and focus during teaching and learning. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a profound and multi-dimensional research on motion verbs and to find out the similarities and differences when expressing meaning of displacement in Russian and Chinese. In this way, motion verbs are more intuitional in teaching and easier to be accepted by students.In order to give a comprehensive analysis, this paper was attached a government relation table of the motion verbs mentioned for displaying straightly general characteristics of motion verbs.
