In mathematics teaching , students are required to learn through their own thinking , which is the primary purpose of teaching general education and requirements . Students to learn mathematics, not only to master the syllabus prescribed mathematical practical knowledge , skills and abilities , but also to master the method of mathematical thinking , and promote the development of thinking . Thus, in the middle school mathematics teaching , teachers must pay attention to students 'mathematical thinking and its culture, one of the defects of the actual teaching , however , is precisely the performance of neglected or repressed students' mathematical thinking : Some teachers injection and the sea issues tactics, the learning of mathematics as merely perception and recognition ; some teachers mathematical thinking activities merely as a form of logical thinking , while ignoring the look at the issue from the overall dialectical thinking development activities .
