With the rapid development of Internet , broadband wireless access , with its flexible networking , operation and maintenance convenience and low cost , fast becoming a hot market. Wireless LAN which is often considered a wired network and the client computer between the \Since the first 1997 IEEE802.11 Wireless LAN Xieyi Pizhun down, this technique Kai Shi迅猛development, and later appeared in IEEE802.11b, IEEE80.11a two kinds of Xie Yi , and more boosted its 's rapid development. Which protocol to use to IEEE802.11a OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing ) technology , because of its innate resistance to multipath fading and frequency spectrum utilization higher characteristic of contemporary research in the field of wireless communications hotspot , and heralded as the fourth generation mobile communication of key technologies. In this article , we focus on the study of a difficult ---- OFDM synchronization issues, including frame synchronization, timing synchronization and carrier synchronization , and finally the whole system simulation . The structure of this paper is divided into four blocks : Chapter 1 introduces the broadband wireless access technology as well as wireless LAN overview of the development , then the wireless LAN channel characteristics , analyzed , and finally pointed out that the main work . Chapter 2 focuses on the two points, one IEEE802.11a agreement, which is part of the whole system sender ; Second, the principle of OFDM technology as well as its advantages and disadvantages. Chapter 3 is the focus of this article , that conduct research on various synchronization techniques , first in the asynchronous case, were investigated delay , frequency , etc. impact on the system , then the current study compared various synchronization techniques , pointing out its shortcomings, and the corresponding improvement put forward their views . Chapter 4 in front of , based on the various properties and excellent low complexity synchronization combination , the overall system in a variety of simulation environment for comparison and summary.
