Double circular arc gears are the complex special helical gear, and the design of the profile parameters is very flexible. Therefore, in this dissertation, it is very important to study study the tooth profile parameters optimum on double circular arc gears by means of modern design method and computer technique.The thesis have established the parametric entity model of the Double circular arc gears after analyzing the constraints and dimension-parameters, and Having established the communication between the entity model and the output of the generalized optimization system so that the output can be used to drive the model. It has linked machine design to the generalized optimization system so as to provide possibilities to realize design of series products quickly.The software’s development takes advantage of ObjectARX2002 MDT which is the newest languages at present. Through the programming environment of Visual C++6.0, the visual interface design of the software is realized by making use of the resources of WINDOWS and class of MFC. The sofeware uses two entity configure methods: extruding and simulating entity cutting in realizing three dimensional configurations, which successfully achieve three dimensional configurations of Double circular arc gears. In addition, parameterized designs of gears meshing are available in this software. Optimal design use CVM01 (Constrained Variable Metric) by YuJung. It is the development of traditional design of double circular gears, speeding the course of design, shorting the period of development, advancing the quality of design. This paper designed the subroutine program of chart and parameter table. So every course can call public subroutine program on the basis of demand.In this paper, the FEM model of double circular arc gears is established by the ANSYS, The FEM model is generated automaticly by the compiled analysis program. Then deal with it in the FEM program and accomplish the parameterized FEM model, It can be analyzed by FEM efficiently and convently on the tooth profile of different tooth profile parameters.
