With the continuous development of computer-aided design technology , three-dimensional parametric design as a new computer-aided design method has been widely used . In order to improve the efficiency of the design of mechanical products , in-depth study for generalized optimization design of three-dimensional parametric CAD system . This article is based on Unigraphics NX software 1.0 , cycloid reducer of a particular model for generalized optimization design study of three-dimensional parametric CAD system . The subject of the main tasks include the following four aspects : First , study the theory of parametric design and optimization design theory based on the idea of generalized optimization integrated into the theory of parametric design , three-dimensional parametric form for the generalized optimization design theory ; proposed specific mechanical products sequential automatic assembly technology , and discusses its implementation ; third , analysis of the application of Unigraphics NX software's main functions and its secondary development tools discussed two scenarios of the development of the reducer CAD system ; combined for generalized optimization theory of three-dimensional parametric design techniques and sequential automatic assembly technology , the application of Unigraphics NX software secondary development function , three-dimensional parametric cycloid reducer the development of the CAD system .
