The Action Research of Cultivating Empathy of Top Class Young Children in Role-playing Games of Y Country Kindergarten in Jilin Province

The mainly purpose of the study is base on in-depth and comprehensive research of role-playing games; explore the strategies of cultivating empathy of top class young children in role-playing games, in order to promote children’s development of interpersonal skills and social adaptability.The object of the study is twenty-three children in big class3 of Y country kindergarten in Jilin Province, around the kindergarten“help me early reading”theme teaching activities, picture books which have an empathetic theme for the script, and unfolds role-playing game activities. After scientific analyzing implementing role-playing games the whole process, the researcher concludes the preschool children’s empathy development performance, explore the strategies of cultivating empathy of preschool children.This research mainly is based on action research; design and implementation role-playing game by the researcher, comprehensive use the literature research, participatory observation, interview and case analysis on the data that have been collected for sorting, summarize and analysis, according to research objective, the research methods, analysis and interpretation, draw the following conclusions:First, it was the important value of fostering children’s empathy:(1) empathy can beneficially promote preschool children’s social cognitive level and ability(2) empathy can stimulates preshool children’s positive mood, emotion experience and express(3)empathy can effectively promote preschool children, teacher-children, generation age of communication and understanding betweenSecond, cultivate preschool children’s empathy strategies:(1) picture books with empathy for the script, cultivate preschool children’s cognitive and emotional empathy(2) consultation solve conflicts, experience preschool children’s empathy behavior(3) hand in hand, the interactive communication and support mutual, promote sustainable development of preschool children’s empathyFinally, the researchers for the profound reflection, action research for researchers itself and professional growth of research with the follow-up suggestions for interested in role-playing game foster children’s empathy teacher reference for empathy, the related research and teachers provide some reference action research.
