Radio Frequency Identification (referred to as RFID) technology is a new automatic identification technology in recent years. It can identify target and exchange data by Radio frequency, which provides a two-way wireless communication link between contactless IC card and IC card reader. At present, the technology has been broadly applied in all kinds of trades, especially such as identify and safety-defend.Entrance guard system is a digitization management system, which manages personnel in and out. The current entrance guard system includes passenger, identifier, and computer instrument. It is too large to move. And It is complex to design of the mechanical parts, so it have high failure rate. It used to take bar-code card or Magnetic cards or IC cards as identity tags. These cards are slow identifying, vulnerable and being copied easily. The slow identification is used to cause the congestion of the passenger.In this paper, the obstacle in the passenger is removed by combine RFID technology and entrance guard system. As a result the access efficiency is improved and the input is reduced. It is economically viable and safe. At the same time RFID tags can be embedded in other materials, so that the form of labels becomes more diverse and flexible.Besides the paper presented a new feature idea of the entrance guard system, which combine RFID technology with smart handheld devices. The care stuff can identify a tag by a handheld device with a RFID reader. So he can resolve the problem at the scene and achieve more efficient management of the passenger through real-time identification. The:paper:firstly introduces the technolgy development background of entrance guard system, analyzes the existing problem in the;traditional ones. Then introduces how a RFID instrument works, its characteristics, type composition, as well as international standards, and so on. On this basis, the paper gives a design of a kind of open trouble-free entrance guard management system based on RFID technology, and describes in details the methods and program of each functional module.As a part of the study, the programming and debugging of the software, efficient way to read and write RFID tags and the data collection method in the smart hand-held device is also presented in the paper.
